Keep All Objects out of Plain Sight

A person never knows what a potential vandal will find tempting, so keeping shopping bags, purses, briefcases, laptops, backpacks, and gym bags out of sight will reduce the chances of someone breaking into the car. Even if there’s nothing of value in a gym bag or backpack, a vandal won’t know that until they’ve removed it from the car and had a chance to inspect it. Of course, this isn’t the best way to handle the situation, but it’s something that happens quite often.
